Is shipping really free?
Yes, standard freight shipping with liftgate delivery is 100% free on all pool heat pumps delivered to residential and commercial addresses within the continental United States. There are no hidden handling fees at checkout.
How will my pool heater be delivered?
Because pool heaters are large, heavy equipment, they ship via professional freight carriers (LTL freight) on a wooden pallet. Your shipment includes free liftgate service, meaning the driver will safely lower the heater off the truck to your driveway or curb.
Do I need to be home for delivery?
Yes. Freight deliveries require an adult (18+) to be present to inspect the shipment and sign the delivery receipt. The freight company will call you directly at the phone number provided at checkout to schedule a delivery appointment time slot.
What happens if my heater arrives damaged?
While damage is rare thanks to our heavy-duty pallet packaging, you are fully covered if you follow these steps:
- Inspect the outside box thoroughly before signing.
- If you see box crushing, tears, or exposed metal, note "DAMAGED - SUBJECT TO INSPECTION" on the delivery receipt (Bill of Lading) before signing, or refuse the shipment entirely.
- Contact us immediately within 24–48 hours at 954-510-5622 or support@theheaterhaus.com with photos, and we will handle the replacement or claim for you right away.
How long will shipping take?
Most in-stock pool heaters ship from the warehouse within 1 to 3 business days. Once on the road, transit time typically takes 3 to 7 business days depending on your location. You will receive tracking details via email as soon as your unit leaves the warehouse.
Can I inspect before signing?
Absolutely—and we strongly recommend it.
Inspect the box for crushed corners, punctures, or tears.
If visible damage exists, write "DAMAGED - SUBJECT TO INSPECTION" on the Bill of Lading (BOL) before signing, or refuse the delivery entirely.
Does delivery include installation or bringing it to my backyard?
Freight delivery is curbside or driveway delivery only. Freight drivers are not insured to move equipment into your backyard, set up the unit, or connect electrical/plumbing lines. We recommend having your installer or electrician scheduled once your heater has arrived and been inspected.
Do you ship outside the U.S.?
Currently we ship throughout the continental United States.
